Trees and Lilac Demos

This was a quick sketch for the Advanced Class yesterday. The lesson for both classes was on trees.

This shows 2 ways to start trees:with the trunk or with the foliage mass.

With tree masses, don't have regular lightened areas,have irregular areas.

Advanced Painting Class

I am thrilled that this class is standing in front of easels. They have much more freedom of movement than when sitting. Their artwork reflects more confidence in painting.
